Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech
Arrive at Marrakech Menara Airport, where your driver will greet you and transfer you to your riad or hotel in the city. Take time to settle in, relax, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Red City. Depending on your arrival time, you can stroll through the colorful streets of the medina, sip mint tea in a local café, or simply rest in preparation for your journey into the desert. Day 2 – Marrakech ⇢ High Atlas Mountains ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Dades Valley
Depart Marrakech in the morning and travel through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, enjoy photo stops at panoramic viewpoints overlooking the mountain peaks and valleys.
Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic kasbahs, known for its earthen architecture and appearances in famous films. Continue through Ouarzazate, sometimes called the “Hollywood of Africa,” and then drive along the scenic Valley of Roses, with its fragrant blooms and traditional villages, before reaching the dramatic Dades Valley.

Day 4 – Dades Valley: Yoga & Exploration

Afterwards, explore the valley’s winding roads and traditional Berber villages. This is a perfect day for mindful walks, meditation, and connecting with nature. Take in the beauty of the valley, capture photographs of the striking red cliffs, and enjoy the calm energy of this serene setting. Dinner and overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 5 – Dades Valley ⇢ Todra Gorge ⇢ Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, depart for Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon with towering walls that rise over 300 meters high. Enjoy a short walk along the gorge floor, taking in the sheer cliffs and unique rock formations.
Continue through oasis villages and desert landscapes toward Merzouga, located on the edge of the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon, embark on a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, stopping to watch the sunset over the golden desert sands. Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where you can enjoy dinner under the stars with traditional Berber music. Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 5: Fes → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Ziz Valley → Merzouga Desert
We begin our scenic journey toward the Sahara Desert, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stops include Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture, and the Cedar Forest near Azrou, home to Barbary macaques.
Continuing south, we pass through the lush Ziz Valley, filled with palm groves and dramatic canyon views. By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga. Here, you’ll enjoy a camel trek across the dunes at sunset, followed by dinner and Berber music at your desert camp.

Day 6 – Merzouga Desert: Yoga & Desert Exploration
Wake up early for a tranquil morning yoga session in the desert, letting the calm energy of the dunes inspire your practice. After breakfast at the camp, spend the day exploring the Sahara: walk among the rolling dunes, ride in a 4×4 for an off-road adventure, or meet local nomadic families to learn about their lifestyle. Optional activities include sandboarding on the dunes or simply relaxing and absorbing the vast desert landscape. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.
Day 7 – Merzouga ⇢ Skoura
Start your day with a morning yoga session, followed by breakfast. Depart Merzouga and travel west toward Skoura, passing through scenic valleys, palm groves, and traditional kasbah villages. Arrive in Skoura, known for its peaceful oasis atmosphere, and spend the evening relaxing in your accommodation. Overnight in Skoura.

Day 8 – Skoura ⇢ Marrakech
