Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Ziz Valley → Merzouga Desert
Your private driver/ guide will meet you at your riad or hotel in Fes in the morning. From there, travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, beginning with a stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style architecture.
Next, continue to the cedar forests near Azrou, where you may see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. As the landscape gradually changes, descend toward the vast palm groves of the Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most impressive oases.
By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Begin a memorable camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes, stopping to enjoy the sunset along the way. Arrive at your luxury desert camp for dinner under the stars and traditional Berber music around the campfire.

Day 2: Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
Wake early to witness a magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at camp, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4, where your driver will be waiting.
Then, travel toward Rissani, a historic trading town known for its traditional market. Continuing west, pass through desert plains and oasis villages before reaching the dramatic cliffs of Todra Gorge, where you can enjoy a short walk between towering canyon walls.
Later in the afternoon, journey through the Valley of Roses and unusual rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers” before arriving in the scenic Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a charming hotel.

Next, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a spectacular fortified village famous for its earthen architecture and film history. After exploring the kasbah, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with panoramic stops along the way.
By evening, arrive in Marrakech, where your driver will drop you off at your riad or hotel. End of the tour.
