Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley
Your private driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech in the morning. From there, you will journey into the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass and stopping along the way for panoramic photos.
Afterwards, continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a remarkable fortified village known for its traditional earthen architecture and famous film locations. Following your visit, travel onward through Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Sahara.” As the scenery gradually changes, drive through Skoura Oasis and along the fragrant Valley of Roses before finally reaching the dramatic rock formations of the Dades Valley. Later, travel deeper into Morocco’s desert landscapes, passing small villages and palm groves as you make your way toward Merzouga, located on the edge of the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon, begin a memorable camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Along the way, pause to admire the breathtaking desert sunset before arriving at your luxury camp.

Then, continue into the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you may stop near Azrou’s cedar forests to see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.
